Message from the Turkish foreign minister to Moussa on Islamic conference organization

Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa received today a message from his Turkish counterpart Ismail Gem concerning Turkey's nomination to former Turkish ambassador in Cairo Yashar Yakish to be the secretary general of the Islamic conference organization to succeed Ez El-Din El-Iraqi who is the current secretary general of the Islamic conference organization.

This was stated by Yashar Yakish, saying that the message he delivered to Moussa during his meeting today also tackled Turkey's position of this nomination adding that Moussa informed him that he understood all the points in the message concerning the nomination and that he will tackle this subject during his meetings with the foreign ministers of the Arab group.

It is worth mentioning that Bangladesh, Morocco and Turkey are competing with Turkey for the post of the trusteeship of the Islamic conference organization.
