Israeli warplanes raid south Lebanon

The Israeli jets fighters on Sunday carried out three raids on heights and valleys surrounding the liberated villages of the Western Bekaa, adjoining the border lines.

The first raid targeted Tallet al-Beer, situated between Zalafa and Qelya towns. The second targeted Abdul Aal heights to the southern east of Qelya and the third raid targeted Zalaya valley. The three raids were preceded by violent artillery bombardment and vas mopping up operations.

Meanwhile, Lebanese security forces said that the occupation forces have finished dismantling al-Aysheyeh and al-Rayhan positions. The sources expected that militia elements positioned at Beer Klaab and al-Dishteyeh will be withdrawn to Deir Meimas triangle.

The Lebanese sources said the Israeli forces started to disarm the militias from heavy weapons and piled them in al-Majideyah area. It also started to transport files and documents of the so called the leadership of the northern area into inside Palestine.

Further reports from South Lebanon said that the Israeli occupation forces violated the April Understanding agreement and shelled the populated quarters in al-Lweizeh town in al-Tuffah district.

Lebanese security sources said that the Israeli artillery bombarded the populated quarters wounding and causing casualties among Lebanese civilians and destroyed several houses.

In retaliation, the Lebanese national resistance attacked two positions of the Israeli occupation forces and their agents inside the occupied part of South Lebanon.

In a statement, the resistance said one of its groups attacked an Israeli engineering force composed of several vehicles while dismantling and transporting equipment from inside al-Tibe Israeli position and precise hits were achieved.

In a statement, the Lebanese resistance said that another resistance group attacked the Israeli Beer Klaab position from close quarters, using machine guns and rockets, and the bombardment resulted in destroying the western fortifications.
