Israel and withdrawal from South Lebanon

The Israeli radio correspondent in Washington reported that the US administration decided to take part in financing costs of withdrawal from South Lebanon. A matter which is considered a message to both Syria and Iran stressing Washington's backing to Israel.
The Israeli radio quoted the Israeli daily Jerusalem Post as saying on Sunday in Washington that the US administration might give Israel US $ 50 million within the secondary military aids to contribute to financing the costs of the withdrawal.
On the other hand, the radio said in a course of its report that the Israeli foreign minister David Levy who is visiting the US said that Washington decided to finance the costs of the Israeli withdrawal from South Lebanon at a cost of US $ 3 million to be give to Israel from the US military aids provided to Israel.
The radio added that Levy and the UN chief Kofi Annan agreed during their meeting on that the UN forces will be deployed along the Lebanese- Israeli borders in coordination with the Israeli army forces.
The radio added that it had become clear to Levy after his meeting with Annan ( the meeting which came after the meeting between Annan "s envoy Terry Larsen with the Syrian and Lebanese officials ) that both Syria and Lebanon are not intending to disturb the withdrawal process from South Lebanon decided to be held within less than two months.
