Yemeni -Saudi border and maritime border meetings

Yemeni-Saudi joint committee for renewing the boundary signs concluded on Thursday the first phase of its 19th round. The 3-day meetings focused on the field review for the boundary signs stipulated in Al-Taif treaty. The two sides agreed to resume meetings in Saudi Arabia on June 18th, 2000, SABA reported.
Meantime the Saudi side in the Yemeni- Saudi Marine Boundaries Joint Committee headed by Mohammed Bin Omar arrived in Sanaa yesterday to attend the 12 round of the joint committee to be launch today.
Saudi negotiators were received upon arrival Dr. Hussein Al-Hobaishi head of the Yemeni side.
