Concluding works of African committee on human rights in Algeria

The African committee for the human rights urged members of African governmental organizations to devote themselves to democracy based on the primacy of the rule of law, justice and equality.
In its concluding statement, the committee decided to participate in the international symposium for combating racism to be held in South Africa in August.
The committee expressed pleasure for the ratification of 3 countries to the African charter protocol concerning establishing the African court for people and human rights and urged other countries to ratify this legal document as soon as possible.
The statement said participation in the committee's works which started was held in April 27 by representatives of 27 countries' representatives and 7 African national organizations as well as 6 non governmental organizations resulting in three African national corporations for the human rights in Rwanda, Malawi, and Algeria becoming members in the committee.
