New Turkish incursion in north Iraq

The Turkish daily al-Sabah said on Thursday that 30 men from the "Kurdistani workers party" were so far killed in the military operation, which is held by some 5,000 Turkish soldiers in North Iraq. The paper added that F-16 jets and Copra and Super Copra helicopters are taking part in this military operation which is being held in a depth ranging between 5 to 10 kilometers inside north Iraq.
In Ankara, the deputy chairman of the people's democratic party Hamid al-Jeilani denounced the military operation. noting that it will be conducive to deteriorating atmospheres of peace in the region. He said that fighters of the "Kurdistani democratic party," led by Mesout al-Barazani are taking part in this operation.
