Iranian president visits Beirut shortly

The Lebanese daily al-Safir published on Thursday quoted well-informed sources as saying that the Iranian President Muhammad Khatami is intending to visit Lebanon shortly in order to hold talks with the Lebanese President on latest developments in the region.
