Iran's first cultural attache to Kuwait

Iran's first cultural attache to Kuwait Hassan Khakrand started his mission on Thursday based on an agreement signed between Iran and Kuwait to help promote exchanges of cultural and artistic cooperation. Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Attaollah Mohajeraniheading a high ranking delegation is to pay an official visit to Kuwait on Saturday, IRNA reported.
Khakrand was previously serving at the Culture and Islamic Communication Organization. Iran's Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Attaolah Mohajerani and his Kuwaiti counterpart Bin Tafleh signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in 1999 to help promote and consolidate Islamic and cultural relations.
