Disabled globe-trotter crosses over 3,300 km in wheel chair
Morocco, Culture, 5/10/2000
A Moroccan young disabled man, Mohamed Azourar, has succeeded a feat to cross in his wheel chair 3,300 km since last January.
This is not Azourar's first challenge. Since 1995, he became well-known among globe trotters.
After this second tour, an example of endurance, Azourar told MAP he is planning to write his memories on the two tours and undertake a similar trip in France in 2001, MAP reported.
The disabled man crossed 800 km in a wheel chair in 1997 northern Libya.
