Convening a Maghreb summit soon in Tunis

Tunis is currently making an intensive diplomatic effort for convening a summit of the Arab Maghreb states in the Tunisian capital to be the 7 summit in history of the Arab Maghreb states.
The union is composed of Libya, Tunis, Algeria, Morocco and Mauritania in addition to Egypt which enjoy a position of observer in this union's activities.
In case of convening the summit, it is decided to agree on granting Egypt the full membership.
The 6th summit was held in 1995 in Algeria then the union's activities were stopped due to the Algerian - Moroccan - Mauritania disputes concerning the Sahara dessert.
