Moroccan, Algerian senates set up cooperation groups

Morocco and Algeria on Monday agreed to set up brotherhood and cooperation groups at their respective upper houses.
The groups are meant to be a frame of permanent coordination and consultation between the Moroccan Chamber of Advisors and the Algerian Nation's Council.
The decision was made at a meeting in Rabat between speaker of the Moroccan upper house, Mohamed Jalal Essaid, and visiting Algerian peer, Bachir Boumaaza.
The groups will promote bilateral relations through parliamentary initiatives to encourage the Moroccan and Algerian governments act to consolidate ties binding the two neighbor nations, a release of the Moroccan upper house said.
King Mohammed VI received on Monday in Tangiers, northern Morocco, Boumaaza and decorated him with the grand cordon of the Alawite Wissam.
