Saddam invited to take part in the OIC summit

Iraqi President Saddam Hussein on Thursday received an invitation from the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Hamad Bin Khaleifa al-Thani to take part at the conference of the summit of the member states at the Organization of the Islamic Conference to be held in Qatar in November this year. The Iraqi news agency said on Friday that Sheikh Muhammad Bin Fahd al-Thani, the minister's Emir's affairs in Qatar has handed over the Iraqi President the invitation during the latter 's meeting with him on Thursday.
The OIC whose premises is in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, includes some 50 Islamic states.
