Meetings in Qatar to support the Palestinian stance

Faysal El-Husseini, the official in charge of the Jerusalem file in the Palestinian government, headed today to Doha topping a large delegation from Beit El-Sharq (the Orient House) to participate in a meeting that is to be held on Tuesday and Wednesday by the permanent Qatari committee to support Jerusalem.

Qatar's emir previously issued a decision to form this committee which is headed by the foreign minister, Sheikh Hamed Bin Jabir al-Thani, and the under secretary Abd El-Rahman El-Atia, deputy chairman of the committee, which convenes its meeting alternately in Doha and Jerusalem. Its last meeting was held in Jerusalem.

The coming meeting will represent the projects that were carried out in the health and educational fields in the last period and others that were ratified for the period between 2000 and 2001.
