King Mohammed meets participants in Morocco-Gulf states forum

King Mohammed VI, who was accompanied by Prince Moulay Rachid, met on Thursday in the northern city of Tangier several Arab officials having participated in the Morocco-Gulf Countries forum on investment and partnership, held in Casablanca May 2-3.

These are the secretary general of the Saudi Foreign Ministry, in charge of economic and cultural affairs, Moncef Tarrad As-Saadoune, the chairman of the federation of the chambers of commerce and industry of the United Arab Emirates, Abdellah Ben Rached Al-Kharji, the vice-chairman of the chamber of trade and industry of Kuwait, Hilal Al-Mtiri, the secretary general of the Economy Ministry of Oman, Abdelmalek Ben Abdellah Al-Hilali, the chairman of the chamber of trade and industry of Qatar, Sheikh Hamad Ben Jassem Ben Mohamed Al-Thani, and the vice-chairman of the chamber of commerce and industry of Bahrain.

The two-day forum, attended by business leaders from the six Gulf countries and opened by Moroccan premier Abderrahmane Youssoufi, explored new outlets for Moroccan products and new investment and partnership opportunities.

According to press reports, no less than one hundred projects were submitted to the Arab economic operators taking part in the forum.
