Italian agriculture minister to visit Morocco

Italian Agriculture Minister Pecoraro Scanio will visit Morocco on May 22 to participate in a Mediterranean meeting of agriculture ministers. Pecoraro said that the meeting will seek to relaunch alliances between Mediterranean countries in agricultural production.
He added that Italy is the largest fruit and vegetable producer in Europe and is the 5th-largest consumer of these produces.
