US firm wins VSAT telecom license

US Space Com SA firm won a bid for the exploitation of public telecom networks via VSAT "Very Small Aperture Terminal Satellite." The US firm offered $4.5 million for the contract.
Morocco granted last year its second GSM mobile phone license to the Spanish-Portuguese-Moroccan consortium "Medi-telecoms" at $1.08 billion.
