Polish premier arrives in Morocco

Polish Premier Jerzy Karol Buzek arrived in Rabat Thursday for a two-day official visit to Morocco.
Buzek told the press his visit, the first to an Arab and African country, is a step towards stronger cooperation ties between Morocco and Poland.
Trade between the two countries totalled $129 million in 1998 against $110 million a year before.
Morocco and Poland are bound by several economic cooperation accords including an agreement on a free trade area concluded in 1996.
