International conference to discuss intellectual property issues and communications laws

An international conference started today in Tunis concerning the Internet and the law, organized by the Arab - French trade chamber in cooperation with the Arab League. Bakjar El-Tozani, the secretary general of the of the chamber, said the two-day conference will discuss intellectual property issues and the laws organizing communications, protecting trade marks, organizing digital networks, ratifying and carrying out electronic contracts and protecting the consumer in electronic transactions, as well as disputes in the field of electronic trade and means of solving them.
