Moussa meets with personal envoy of Tony Blair

Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa convened with Michael Levy, the personal envoy of British Prime Minister Tony Blair.

Following the meeting, Levy said his visit to Cairo comes to exchange points of view and ideas with Moussa concerning the current status of the peace process in the Middle East and to discuss means of enhancing bilateral relations between the two countries.

Levy's visit to Cairo comes as part of a tour that also included Jordan and Syria.

Levy denied that he is carrying new ideas concerning the different peace negotiation tracks.

Levy's visit to Cairo came before Moussa headed to Syria to convene a tripartite meeting with his Syrian and Saudi counterparts.
