Egyptian welcomes the results of the Arab parliament conference

Ahmed Fathi Sorour, head of the Egyptian People's Council (parliament) and head of the Egyptian delegation to the 103rd Inter-Parliamerntary Union conference that is currently being held in Jordan asserted that the conference is considered a victory from the political aspect for the principles of the third world and human rights, as well as a chance to raise the special Arab causes.

He said the conference was a political phenomenon for the parliaments of the world to express their opinions on controversial issues concerning human rights, globalization and its harmful effects and the discussion between the North and the South.

He said that all the participants supported the third world's rights and the importance to stand by these rights to overcome the financial crisis confronting the people, adding that the Arab states coordinated with one another in order to express their viewpoint.
