New Israeli aggression against south Lebanon

The Israeli occupation forces on Wednesday escalated their aggressions against villages in south Lebanon in a series of raids which targeted the town of Habboush, and the attacks resulted in wounding 14 civilians including several children.

Lebanese medical sources said that among the wounded is the Lebanese child Zein al-Abidin Hariri (one month old), his brother Lowi (9), Ahmad (11), Abdullah (13), Abbas Muhammad Hallal (37), Amira Shahbour Hariri (45), Muhammad Hassan Halal (12), Butoul Muhammad Hariri (45), Alaa Zeinati (60), Noura Hashem (11), Jamila Mekki and Fatima Hariri (60), and Fatima al-Mulla (60), while several Lebanese citizens had collapsed or were in comas as a result of the attacks.

On Wednesday afternoon, the Israeli warplanes carried out three raids against al-Zahrani river course, al-Sitt bridge and al-Zahrani bridge, and the bombardment resulted in damage to the electricity network in the area and in cutting the electrical current in the towns of al-Tuffah district's heights.

Meanwhile, Israeli warplanes carried out a new raid against Haboush town in south Lebanon, targeting the house of an official in the Amal movement, Abbas Muhammad Halal.

On Wednesday at dawn, Israeli war planes raided the surroundings of Maisoun town in the western Bekaa.

Lebanese security sources said the Israeli warplanes dropped several air-to-surface missiles on the targeted area, and the Israeli artillery bombarded the woods of al-Rayhani, al-Qatrani, Shbeir farm, Kafer Houneh farm in Jezzine district, Jabal Abu Rashed, Burket al-Jabbour, Ein al-Tineh hills, al-Leitani river course and Qelya surrounding in the western Bekaa.

The Lebanese security sources said that more than 180 shells were dropped on these Lebanese areas.

In retaliation, the Lebanese resistance carried out a violent attack against the Israeli occupation position of al-Tibeh project in the central sector.

In a statement the resistance said direct hits were achieved.
