Serial rapist arrested

A 46-year-old doughnut vender, wanted for raping hundreds of children, was arrested last week in Rabat.

The suspect admitted to the police that he used to lure his victims, offering them doughnuts and tea with soporifics.

The doughnut vender, who started offenses twenty years ago, said his victims included girls and boys, adding that his wife was one of these victims and that he married her to elude judicial trial. The rapist will appear in court on May 18.
