Acts of violence in Algeria

The Algerian dailies said on Tuesday that some 13 persons were killed and another 15 wounded in acts of violence carried out on Saturday and Monday in Algeria.
The Algerian daily Le Mattan said that two policemen were killed on Monday in the downtown of Dels city, east of the capital, Algiers.
Several Algerian dailies said on Tuesday that three persons who had surrendered from the Islamic Salvation Army were killed by armed groups. Two were killed near Jijil and one in Constantine.
Some eight members of the armed groups were killed by the security forces in two mopping-up operations carried out on Saturday near al-Thaneyah, according to the Algerian paper Triune.
On Sunday five Algerian army officers were wounded in the explosion of two bombs near Boumerdes, according to the Algerian daily Oran.
