Iranian FM concludes successful visit to Qatar

Iranian Foreign Minister Kamal Kharazi has described his visit to the state of Qatar and the talks he held with Qatari officials as positive and constructive.

In a statement he made on Tuesday upon his arrival from Doha, Kharazi added that he had held fruitful talks with high-ranking officials in Qatar centered on bilateral relations and means of developing them in all fields, especially the question of security in the Gulf region.

Kharazi announced that the ruler of Qatar, Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa al-Thani, will visit Iran in the very near future and that official and periodic meetings are to be organized between officials in the two countries as well as other regular meetings between the foreign ministers in the two countries.
