Steps to establish Arab organization for intellectual property

An Arab organization for intellectual property is currently being established in cooperation with the World Intellectual Property Organization and the Arab organizations concerned with protection of intellectual property.

Talal Abu Ghazala, head of the Arab assembly for the intellectual property (a non-governmental corporation), said the new organization aims at developing legislation, supporting innovators to ban the illegal exploitation of their production and bridging the technological gap between the Arab states.

A committee was formed named "the electronic signature" that works on suggesting ideal legislative personnel from the different Arab corporations and bodies in a consulting capacity to deal with electronic trade.
