New planning minister appointed in Jordan

The appointment of Taleb al-Refa as minister of planning in Jordan was announced in Amman on Monday. Al-Refa will succeed Rima Khalaf in this post, after she submitted her resignation from the government.
Al-Refa was a teacher at the University of Jordan and the director of the cement company.
