Israel escalates aggressions against Lebanese areas

The Israeli occupation forces on Sunday bombarded several towns and villages in south Lebanon.

Lebanese security sources said the Israeli artillery stationed in al-Zaffata shelled deserted Lebanese army barracks in al-Nabatieh, Kafer Tabnet, the al-Kofour valley and al-Sawannah positioned between the towns of Shawkin and Kafer Dajaj.

The Israeli artillery positioned in the hill of al-Hardoun, Shama' bombarded Majdal Zoune, Jib Sweid, Zibqin, al-Rahrah and the Litani river bed.

The Lebanese security sources indicated that the bombardment resulted in damage to properties and planting areas.

In retaliation, the Lebanese resistance attacked two positions of the Israeli occupation forces and the pro-Israel militias inside the occupied part of south Lebanon.

In a statement, the Lebanese resistance said resistance groups attacked Beer Klaab and Dhour al-Kassarat and direct hits were scored.

On Saturday evening the resistance forces attacked Israeli groups at al-Muheisbat and al-Salaa and direct hits were achieved on the Israeli fortifications and personnel.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces displaced a Lebanese family from al-Tibe town inside the occupied part of south Lebanon.
