Opening the international parliamentary conference in Jordan tomorrow

King Abdullah II of Jordan is to open tomorrow the International Parliamentary Union conference that is to be held in Amman and last for one week.

The conference is to discuss political, economic and cultural issues, topped by the development of the peace process in the Middle East; achieving peace, stability, and comprehensive development all over the world; establishing economic, political and cultural ties among the world's nations through discussions among civilizations and cultures.

The conference will also discuss an Egyptian report concerning the Middle East peace process that is to be delivered by the head of the Egyptian Parliament, Ahmed Fathi Serour, the former chairman of the IPU.
