De Charette calls for intensifying efforts to revive the Syrian track

Former French Foreign Minister Herve De Charette has warned that the situation in the Middle East region is inclining towards deterioration.
In statements to the Paris-based al-Muharrir news in its recent issue, De Charette added he had hope there will be a change in the US methods, while recognizing the fact that the US has very important strategic interests in the Middle East.
De Charette called on the US to intensify its efforts with the countries of the European Union in order to eliminate the current stalemate on the Syrian track.
