Five SLA militia members killed, 10 wounded in confrontations in south Lebanon

Lebanese security sources said today that five pro-Israel South Lebanon Army militia members were killed and another 10 wounded in attacks by the Lebanese resistance against Israeli forces and their militia allies.
The sources added that most of the wounded SLA militia members were taken to Rambam hospital in Haifa due to their being in critical health conditions and seriously wounded.
The sources also confirmed that two Israeli soldiers were wounded in attacks by resistance fighters against the Israeli al-Rayhan position.
Meanwhile, a source at the SLA militia acknowledged the killing of four of its members and wounding of other six. It also admitted that several of its positions were exposed to violent attacks from the Lebanese resistance.
Earlier in the day, news reports from south Lebanon stated that one Israeli soldier was wounded and three militia members were wounded while another four were missing in operations carried out by the Lebanese resistance today against the Israeli occupation forces and their agents in the occupied part of south Lebanon.
In a statement, the Lebanese resistance said that one of its groups on Friday morning broke into the Aramti position and bombarded its fortifications. The bombardment resulted in killing or wounding the occupants of the position.
Meanwhile, another resistance groups carried out, using machine guns and rockets, in an attack against the Israeli and SLA positions in Barachit, Shaqif al-Namel and al-Ghazlan in the central sector of the occupied part of south Lebanon.
For its part Israeli sources and SLA militia sources admitted that one Israeli soldier was wounded and that the position was broken into. The SLA and Israeli sources also stated that a small vehicle got into this position and was detonated by its driver (a suicide attack), and the operation resulted in total destruction of the position and disappearance of four of its members.
