UAE food aid for Yemen

A ship full of foodstuffs from the United Arab Emirates donated by Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan al-Nahyan, head of the UAE arrived in Yemen late yesterday evening to support the inhabitants of Sucatra Island in confronting effects of floods which swept the island due to the heavy rains which caused a lot of damages in the agricultural land and in houses.
The value of this aid is estimated at 1.3 million UAE dirhams. The ship's cargo is considered the second installment of support from the UAE to the inhabitants of the island.
