Decrease in population growth in Tunisia

The population growth average in Tunisia has decreased during 1999 to 1.15% which is three times lower than it used to be three years ago.
A statement issued by the Tunisian Ministry of Economic Development said that the average individual income has increased to more than $2,500 US annually in comparison to $1,000 US 12 years ago and that average economic growth is estimated at 5% annually while the inflation did not exceed 2.7% in the last year in comparison to 7.6% in 1987.
