Polish premier in Morocco early May

Polish Premier Jerzy Karol Buzek will pay an official visit to Morocco May 4-5 for talks with Moroccan officials on ways to consolidate bilateral cooperation.

Two accords on tourism and environment protection will be signed during the visit that will mark a turning point in bilateral cooperation, the commercial advisor at the Polish embassy in Morocco, Teofil Stanislawski, told the press in Rabat Thursday.

During his stay in Morocco, the Polish premier will meet with his Moroccan peer, Abderrahmane Youssoufi, and other Cabinet members. Buzek and his party are also scheduled to meet the Moroccan employers' association (CGEM) for talks on means to promote small and medium enterprises.

Morocco and Poland are bound by several economic cooperation accords, including an agreement on a free trade area concluded in 1996.
