Tunisian journalist freezes hunger strike

Tunisian sources said that Tunisian journalist Taoufik Ben Brik who started a hunger 24 days ago froze his hunger strike after the intervention of human rights activitists and international personalities among whom is Marry France, wife of the former French prime minister and one of the most prominent human rights activists in the world, saying that Ben Brik will resume the hunger strike tomorrow.
Ben Brik demands his passport back, an end to the harassmen confronting his family members and the ability to practice his work freely.
The sources added, "Speaking with Taoufik is difficult, especially that the Tunisian security troops bans visiting him."
