Israeli jets strike Lebanese areas

Israeli warplanes on Wednesday morning carried out three raids on the areas of the western Bekaa and eastern Lebanon.
Lebanese security sources said the Israeli jets targeted the woods of al-Jabbour and Abi Rashed district, dropped several air-to-surface missiles and caused damage in arable farmland.
The Lebanese sources said the Israeli artillery bombarded the outskirts of the towns of Hadatha, Eita al-Jabal, Serbin and Haris.
The bombardment coincided with heavy shelling of the residential areas in Hadatha and Eita al-Jabal, Serbin and Haris.

The Israeli bombardment also targeted the towns of al-Nabatieh al-Fawqa, the deserted barracks of the Lebanese army and the outskirts of Habboush, Arab Salim and Kafer Tibnet.
Meanwhile, the Israeli forces on Wednesday continued their aggressions against areas adjacent to the occupied part of south Lebanon.
Lebanese security sources said the Israeli artillery positioned at al-Zaffata position bombarded the outskirts of Jab town in al-Tuffah district.
Also on Wednesday the Israeli forces launched spy balloons over the western Bekaa. The balloons were seen over the axis of Jabal al-Daher, al-Ahmadeyah.
In retaliation, one Lebanese resistance group on Wednesday attacked a pro-Israel South Lebanon Army militia group while carrying out fortification acts at Dhour al-Kassarat position, using rockets.
In a statement, the Lebanese resistance said direct hits were achieved.
Simultaneously, another Lebanese resistance group attacked a force for the SLA militia at Burket al-Dajaj position.
Earlier in the day, the Lebanese resistance carried out a series of operations against Israeli military convoys and the hireling militia inside the occupied part of south Lebanon.
In a statement the resistance said direct hits were achieved.
