Libyan official confers with British foreign office secretary

The secretary of the people's committee for foreign contacts and international cooperation in Libya, Abdul Rahman Shalqam, met on Wednesday in Tripoli with the secretary of the British Foreign Office, John Kerr, currently visiting Libya.
During the meeting discussions dealt with cooperation relations between Libya and Britain and means of backing and consolidating them in various fields.
In two other separate meetings the secretary of the Libyan people's committee for finance, Muhammad Beit al-Mal, and the assistant secretary for political affairs in the people's general committee, Saad Mujbir, discussed with Kerr on Wednesday bilateral cooperation relations and regional and international issues of mutual concern.
