Emir of Kuwait confers with the speaker of the Egyptian parliament

Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Jaber al-Ahmad al-Sabah on Wednesday discussed with the speaker of the Egyptian Parliament, Ahmad Fathi Sorour, relations between the two states and means of fostering them.
Discussions during the meeting which was attended by the crown prince and prime minister, Sheikh Saad al-Abdullah al-Sabah, and the speaker of the Kuwaiti Parliament (nation's council) dealt with bilateral relations and latest political developments in the region as well as issues of mutual concern.
