Israel denies agreeing to grant 90% of West Bank to the Palestinians
Palestine-Israel, Politics, 4/26/2000
Israel denied yesterday agreeing to grant the Palestinian Authority 90% of the West Bank's lands in return for consent to delaying addressing the issue of Jerusalem.
Meanwhile, the Israeli general security body asked Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak to release all prisoners belonging to the Fatah movement and the organizations participating in the Palestinian Authority. It has also asked for continuing jailing of the prisoners that belong to the Hamas movement and the Islamic Jihad.
On the other hand, Syria accused Israel yesterday of using the Syrian captives in the Israeli prisons for medical experiments as official Syrian sources stated that Israel is testing new medications on the captives before selling the medications on the market.
