King Abdullah concludes visit to Ramallah

King Abdullah of Jordan on Tuesday held a meeting with Palestinian President Yasser Arafat on Tuesday in Ramallah, immediately after the arrival of the king in this city.
In statements quoted by Israeli Radio on Tuesday, Jordanian Foreign Minister Abdul Illah al-Khatib stated that discussions dealt with developments of negotiations between the Palestinians government and Israel, noting the existing coordination between the Palestinians government and Jordan.
Later in the day, the Jordanian king arrived back in Amman following his short visit to the Palestinian Authority areas, during which he held talks with Arafat on the development of Israeli-Palestinian negotiations and bilateral relations.
