King Abdullah gets a message from Arafat

King Abdullah of Jordan on Sunday received a message from Palestinian President Yasser Arafat, who briefed the king on the results of the talks Arafat held in Washington on Thursday with US President Bill Clinton concerning the peace process on the Palestinian track and what has been realized in this regard.
The message was conveyed to Jordanian Foreign Minister Abdul Illah al-Khatib by the chief Palestinian negotiator, Saeb Erekat, during their meeting in Amman on Sunday.
The visit was prior to the meeting held between the Jordanian king and Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak in Eilat on Sunday.
