Mubarak confers with Arafat

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak on Sunday in Cairo received Palestinian President Yasser Arafat, who arrived in Cairo on Saturday evening coming from Washington following his meeting with US President Bill Clinton. Bilateral issues were discussed.
This was followed by a plenary session includingo members of the delegation accompanying Arafat, Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa and the political advisor to the Egyptian president, Osama El-Baz.
Talks dealt with the latest developments concerning the peace process on the Palestinian track, the results of Arafat's visit to the US and his talks with US President Bill Clinton.
