Egypt, Lebanon for complete pullback of Israeli forces

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and Lebanese President Emile Lahoud asserted that Israel's complete pullback from the Golan to the June 4, 1967 border lines, the Lebanese and Palestinian territories and the return of Palestinian refugees to their homeland, is the core of the establishment of a just and comprehensive peace in the Middle East.
In a joint statement released after their talks in Cairo on Friday, the two presidents called for Arab backing for the unity of the Syrian and Lebanese tracks.
The two presidents also described Israel's notification of the UN secretary general of its plan to withdraw from Lebanon as a victory for Lebanon and for the resistance, stressing Lebanon's right to demand complete reparations for damages to Lebanon as a result of the Israeli occupation and aggressions.
