Ebeid visits Lebanon in mid May

Prime Minister Atef Ebeid said on Thursday he is expected to visit Lebanon in mid May to see the celebration to be held for the operation of the power stations, which were badly damaged by Israeli airstrikes, and Egypt contributed to fix.

A team of Egyptian engineers and technicians has finalized the rehabilitation of some of the power stations, hit by Israeli raiders last February.

Ebeid will also take part in the economic conference, to be presided by Lebanese Prime Minister Salim al Hoss, who invited him to attend the gathering to be held in Beirut in May.

The Prime Minister will participate in the new round of the joint Egyptian-Lebanese higher committee to take place at the same time in Beirut.
