Jordanian forces continue campaign against normalization
Jordan, Politics, 4/21/2000
The Jordanian executive committee for protecting the homeland and confrontation of normalization has called on the Jordanian Parliament not to permit an Israeli Knesset delegation to take part in the meetings of the Inter-Parliamentary Union whose works will start in Amman on April 29.
The committee stated that the Jordanian Parliament is careful to preserve its "purity" and therefore "killers" should not enter it.
In a statement issued in Amman on Thursday, the committee added, "We appeal to the parliamentarians for a stand of dignity representing the will of the homeland in rejecting normalization and reconciliation with the Israeli enemy."
