Israel continues aggressions against south Lebanon

The Israeli occupation forces on Thursday escalated their attacks against areas and villages in south Lebanon and its western Bekaa.

The Israeli occupation forces also intensively bombarded Arab Salim town, the outskirts of Qibreiha, al-Qeseyeh valley, Habboush river course, al-Rafe mountain, al-Sawannah, the surrounding of al-Jimijmeyah town, Khurber Soloum, the woods of al-Rayhan al-Qatranai surrounding and the areas of al-Tuffah district, Hasbaya al-Jabbour heights, Abi Rashed, al-Sarira hills, al-Dallafa surroundings and Litani river course.

Lebanese security sources said the Israeli bombardment resulted in damaging two houses in Arab Salim town and two other houses in Habboush town and the damaging of two cars. The Israeli bombardment also resulted in damaging three houses in Majdal Zoune and other four houses in Hasbaya.

Meanwhile, the Lebanese resistance carried out several operations against the Israeli occupation troops and their militia allies' positions in al-Tibeh, al-Salaa, al-Sweeida, al-Tahra, al-Debshe, Masharoun, al-Abbad and Dhour al-Kassarat and carried out violent confrontations with Israeli soldiers in al-Tibeh project.

The confrontation lasted for several hours and resulted in hits in the lines of the Israeli and South Lebanon Army militia joint forces. The Lebanese resistance detonated explosives in two vehicles of the SLA militia, resulting in killing or wounding of several SLA agents.

The Lebanese resistance, meanwhile, stated that two of its men were killed in a confrontation which took place in al-Tibeh area on Thursday and that the Israeli forces admitted that three of its soldiers were wounded, one SLA militia member was killed and two others wounded as a result of the Lebanese operations.

On the other hand, the pro-Israel militias in south Lebanon built several barriers along the road between Hasbaya and Marjyoun while news reports asserted that the Israeli withdrawal from south Lebanon is a mere redeployment of the occupation forces, especially as engineering units have been reconstructing military roads near Marjyoun, Khiam plain and the surrounding of al-Nahas hill.
