Morocco, Business, 4/20/2000
The Moroccan customs and indirect taxes administration decided on Wednesday to ease administrative procedures for exporting companies which meet requirements of a modern and transparent management.
The customs administration signed in this regard with a group of enterprises a convention providing for a set of measures to ease procedures and reduce the time needed for customs clearance.
The enterprises hailed the initiative as a breakthrough in their relations with the customs administration.
Early this year, the customs authority had signed with six road transporters a convention providing for the opening of clearance spaces to ensure a better fluidity of trade operations and a more rapid clearance process.
