Baz warns Israel of non-retrieval of Palestinian rights
Egypt, Politics, 4/20/2000

President Mubarak's Political Advisor Osama Al-Baz, warned Israel against impeding retrieval of the Palestinian legitimate rights and Palestinians' right to self-determination now that the Palestinians have manifested a will to coexist on a basis of parity.

Baz urged Israel to pull out from the Syrian Golan Heights as a means to widen the scope of peace chances available in the region.

In a meeting with professors and students of Assuit University Tuesday, Baz exhorted anew all powers to control armament balance and dismantle nuclear weapons and weapons of mass- destruction.

"Now, we are more capable than before of ending the Arab-Israeli conflict in light of the Arab will to peacefully coexist but on the basis of an Israeli awareness that Israel cannot live alone in the region influenced by its expantional concepts," said Baz.
