Moratinos holds talks in Amman

Jordanian Foreign Minister Abdul Illah al-Khatib on Wednesday in Amman held talks with the delegate of the European Union to the Middle East peace process, Miguel Moratinos. The talks centered on latest developments concerning the Middle East peace process on the Palestinian, Syrian and Lebanese tracks.
The Jordanian news agency, Petra, reported that Moratinos briefed al-Khatib on the results of his recent contacts with all sides concerned with the Middle East peace process, especially with the US Middle East peace process coordinator, Dennis Ross.
On Sunday, a high-ranking Jordanian official said that Jordan has started new efforts to achieve genuine progress in the peace process on all tracks.
