A meeting between Yemeni president and Iranian FM

Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh stressed during his meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Kamal Kharazi on Tuesday evening in Tehran that, "The enemies try to find an atmosphere of tension and non-confidence among the countries of the region." He called for work through investing all available potentials for regional development and stability.

For his part, the Iranian foreign minister indicated the importance of strengthening ties of friendship and cooperation in the region, saying that this inclination is one of the main components of the Iranian Foreign Ministry. He called for cooperation among the countries of the region to ensure its security.

He expressed his hope that common efforts between Iran and the countries of the region will result in comprehensive cooperation for strengthening the pillars of its peace, security and economic prosperity.
