Lahoud to start visit to Egypt to tomorrow

Lebanese President Emile Lahoud is starting his first official visit to Cairo tomorrow that includes discussions with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak that tackle developments in the situation in Lebanon and forthcoming Israeli withdrawal from south Lebanon during June, as well as the efforts exerted to resume peace negotiations on the Syrian and Palestinian tracks.
Lahoud will inform President Mubarak of the results of his Gulf tour, which includes Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates and Iran, from which he will arrive in Cairo on a two-day visit.
